If you have ANY kind of autoimmune disorder I highly recommend the following:
- The BEST thing I ever did was start taking Isotonic OPC-3. As far as I have ever seen, it is the BEST anti-oxidant pycnogenol. It has been INCREDIBLE, personally in my circles with inflammation, pain and even allergies. I take it with Isotonic Co-Q10, Isotonic ACAI, Isotonic ORAC and Isotonic Champion Blend.

- Consume as much “live”, raw organic food as possible. 75-85% of your diet is ideal. Minimize flesh foods as they are very hard on the digestive track and are very acidifying. I recommend the Biblically approved meats of fish (wild, with scales and fins) and fowl. Even in Biblical times, they had the other red meats only occasionally and during festivities. If this is difficult for you, then consider including NESS digest chewables for enzyme supplementation.
- No wheat, dairy (see attached) or table sugar (honey, agave, stevia, erythritol and xylitol recommended).
For centuries peoples ate a variety of whole grains; barley, oats, quiona, amaranth, spelt, kamut and wheat etc. All of these were WHOLE grains including the bran which is needed to not only keep things moving in our intestines, but to also scrub out our intestinal tract. In recent history we have not only narrowed our diet down to one grain, wheat, but in most cases, commercially, it is genetically modified (GMO wheat: altered from the way God designed it for our bodies) and has been refined (the bran and endosperm removed). I truly believe this is one of the major causes of autoimmune disorders. It makes sense if you think about it…We are born with a certain “allowance” of enzymes. If we overdo any one food we often end up sensitive to it because we have used up the enzyme to help break it down in our systems. Now, if we don’t have the enzymes to break it down, the body treats it like a poison, or foreign invader circulating in our blood, very acidifying….thus…
many, many autoimmune disorders beyond just gluten sensitivities result. I believe these acidifying compounds, like acidic sludge, burn our cartilage, collagen and muscle tissues and “dam up” in our joints over time leading to permanent pain and disfigurement.
I am a recovering “milk-a-holic”. My extensive research has led me to the conclusion that it is a health hazard. Molecularly, I believe God designed cows milk for rapid growing large beasts called calves. Cows are the only animal we share the common Igf-1 hormone with which is a hormone that exacerbates not only growth, but also is believed to exacerbate the rapid growth of mutant cells in our bodies. In biblical times, people did drink goats and lambs milk, but on a molecular scale, it is much easier for humans to assimilate, however, we are the only “animal” that is drinking milk after weaning…something is wrong with this picture. AND, even though they drank lamb and goats milk, I do not believe it was intended for humans past weaning, but, as an alternative for nursing infants who either lost their mothers, or, for some reason could not nurse…to the point of being able to healthfully assimilate solid foods. And as milk is very acidifying in the process of digesting its’ protein, our body has to give up its’ own calcium to neutralize the acidity created. How is it that the U.S. is one of the largest dairy consumers in the world yet we still have one of the, if not the highest osteoporosis crisis on our hands? Honestly, I prefer almond milk now in lieu of cow’s milk (homemade with one of the aforementioned healthy sweeteners), but, I do eat cheese, occasionally, on pizza and a VERY occasional sandwich.
- If you go to creatingheaven.net you can purchase sprouted spelt and other sprouted grains. It takes me 2-3 minutes to make the most incredible Sprouted Spelt Bread in my machine. I also throw in 3-6 Tablespoons Organic Cold Milled Flax I get at Costco. You can quickly and easily make your own hamburger and hot dog buns by setting your machine to “dough”, shaping and baking.
Sprouted Spelt Bread
(Machine Recipe revamped from Creatingheaven.net)1 ½ cups liquid (warm in micro 40 seconds)
I don’t use my microwave to “cook” anything, just to
lightly heat.
1 ½ teaspoons Celtic Sea Salt
3-6 Tablespoons Flax
¼ to ½ Cup Local Raw Organic Honey
3 Tablespoons Organic Whole Wheat Gluten Flour (not
the same as WW flour)
1 packet Red Star Active Dry Yeast
Set your Bread Machine to Wheat Bread and Light Crust.
Pizza Dough Recipe
(For more than just pizza, mix in your variety of herbs,
sundried tomatoes or whatever sounds good)
¾ Cup Warm Water
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
2 Cups Sprouted Spelt
1 packet Red Star Active Dry Yeast
Put in bread machine under “dough”. Dough is done in 1 hour. Mix will be VERY sticky. Flour rolling board with sprouted flour. Add and fold in sprouted flour until makes nice ball. Roll out and put on toppings or just brush with extra virgin olive oil and bake.

Read about each ingredient and why it is so helpful. However, I would suggest the following:
- I half his recipe as I figure I am about half Pat Robertson’s size. This still lends itself to a 16 oz. shake for me.
- Substitute Extra Virgin Olive Oil for the Refined Safflower Oil.
I like the GOYA brand.
- ABSOLUTELY DO NOT use the artificial sweeteners he suggests, but rather, honey, agave or stevia.
- Consider taking Nutrition Now Chewable Rhino Acidophilus or another high quality probiotic blend.

- EXERCISE! EXERCISE! EXERCISE! It is the only way to clean out your lymph system. You should reach up to the sky and down to your toes at least 20 times a day. Also, take AT LEAST 20 deep, deep purifying breaths a day. I HATE to exercise, but, a year ago found Pickleball and am an addict now. Find an exercise that can
become your fun.
